Together we will share best practices and organize our support of non-partisan legislation and policies that remove the barriers of economic, educational, and healthcare inequities for the Puerto Rican people. Dive into the issues that matter to you, our community, and our mission at NPRA!
The plenary is the highest decision-making body of the NPRA for members with voting privileges and will take place on Saturday, March 16th at 2:25pm. The Convention has three main responsibilities and powers:
1. Provide a national forum for organizations, elected officials, and community stakeholders to gather in service of the Puerto Rican community.
2. Electing NPRA Executive Leadership for upcoming 2-year terms
3. Enacting/amending the regulation of NPRA bylaws that will govern the role of our organization and establish our strategic priorities for the next 2 years.
One of the more important decisions member organizations and state chapters make is the selection of its delegates to the Convention. To submit your delegates for approval by NPRAs Convention Committee please contact: Jimmy Torres-Vélez at [email protected]
All formal action taken at the Convention is the result of democratic voting. Those with voting privileges at the Convention include:
• Individual NPRA Members: 1 Vote

• State Chapters/Organizations: 10 Votes
• National Organizations: 20 Votes
While all are welcome to attend, voting privileges are reserved for members in good standing. To confirm or renew your membership, please visit our membership page here or contact: [email protected] for more information.
